And ... so what? Any (appropriate) member of the Academy can nominate a film.
Even for reasons which have nothing to do with the quality of the film.
(How do I know the tweet author is a member of the Academy, and not just someone simply BS'ing on the internet? The account is from 'Primetime Emmy winning Oculus/Pixar/AI team', so it could be a PR team pushing their tech.)
